I’ve owned dogs my entire life and have provided in-home boarding since 2016.
My professional background is rooted in research, science, and care. I hold a graduate degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Health, and I currently work in the pharmaceutical industry.
I’m especially drawn to gentle, intuitive animals and the quiet communication they require. My love of horses has taught me patience, awareness, and presence, and that same approach guides how I care for dogs. I share my home with two English Cream Golden Retrievers, Sir Bearlet “Bear” and Lady Irie “Irie.” I intentionally keep my environment small and personal so each dog receives focused, individualized attention.
I am currently studying somatic-based approaches with animals, with a focus on dogs and nervous-system regulation. This work centers on understanding canine body language, stress responses, and emotional states, using calm presence, pacing, and environment to help dogs feel grounded, secure, and at ease.
Golden Days is a private, home-based experience — not a kennel or high-volume operation.
